Skinny Jeans @ Work

I wore my Hershey t-shirt and vintage, acid-washed skinny jeans at work. Yes you heard it right, skinny jeans. The last time I've worn a skinny jeans was way back in 1996. Thanks to my current work, a few pounds of body fat had been shed off. Say hello to slimmer legs and arms! =p

Main reason on why I bought one - To make a tactless co-worker, drool:

A Filipino co-worker betted that I don't have shapely legs because according to him I'm wearing jeans all the time... at work. Eh sya mukhang macho dancer...laging naka fitted, black shirt. At may bigote pa sya ha?! Mister Swabe daw. Hehehe

He bragged about the fact that both Filipina and American women are going after him. Then, how come he's still single at age 30++?

Quite an adventure I had last night with Ryan and his bestfriend, Chris. The roads, trees, bushes and the parking lot are still covered in snow. Traction is such a major issue that we have to use the ice-free parking lot across the street (for Microsoft's visitors). Took us more than an hour to get my car all the way up to the tow dolly. The car is now in the distributor for them to diagnose the problem.

*Tow dolly rents for US$40/whole day. Towing service is US$160/hr, minimum of 1hr.

I guess I owe both of them a reward for making the towing, possible!

The worst of the worst

Yesterday afternoon -

Hailstorm.
Inches deep snow
Traffic jams.... horrible commute
The rear end part of my jeans (puwitan) got ripped off at work (I'm glad I've worn my floral thermal pants)
My car won't start (Batteries = OK)
Ryan's car got stranded in the uphill area of Kirkland
Ryan and his friend picked me up at work after four hours of waiting

Today -

Snowy/Icy Road.
My car is still in the company's parking lot, occupying two parking spots
My cellphone is running low in battery
No bus service in Kirkland (Can't get a ride to work)
Still wearing my ripped-in-the-butt-area jeans
STRANDED IN KIRKLAND

Hehehe.

Have a Blessed New Year to All!
